The Polar cooling units are powerful devices, equipped with CFC-free refrigerants. They also have a safety circuit that stops the device if it overheats and prevents the compressor from burning out. An integrated air filter, which can be changed from the outside, extends the maintenance intervals.
The titanium heat exchangers are resistant to sea water and many chemicals. When flowing through the device, the water only comes into contact with plastic and titanium.
Properties of the polar coolers:
- The setpoint can be set from 3 ° C – 32 ° C in steps of 1 ° C
- The switching hysteresis is 1 ° C
- Switch-on protection : In order to avoid switching the device on and off too often, the cooler switches on again at the earliest 3 minutes after it has been switched off.
