Every living creature in the aquarium is unique and has individual nutrient needs to stay healthy and vital and to be able to show its colourful splendour. Formula ONE is specially designed for the needs of carnivorous fish species, Formula TWO for herbivorous fish species. With a combination of Formula ONE and TWO you provide all aquarium inhabitants with the full nutrient spectrum of their natural habitat. The health, resistance and colour intensity of fish and invertebrates are sustainably improved.
Ideal food for ground living species and active swimmers
These are soft pellets with a high moisture content, which quickly sink to the bottom due to their weight. This not only minimises the risk of them being removed by filters or skimmers, but also makes them the ideal food for soil living organisms and enables targeted feeding of crustaceans, gobies or snake stars, for example. The pellets are also suitable for the supply of very active swimmers as well as species with high metabolic rates.
High nutritional value per pellet and very good digestibility
The soft texture of the soft pellets supports the good acceptance and facilitates the utilization of the nutrients. The pellets are available in two sizes (small and medium) and packaged in a nitrogen atmosphere to ensure long freshness. In order to avoid oxidation of the feed, the pellets are packed in separately sealed fresh bags in a nitrogen atmosphere. They are easy to use and can be administered via an automatic feeder.
Perfectly adapted to the needs of herbivorous and omnivorous species
Formula TWO covers the versatile nutritional spectrum of herbivorous fish species in the wild excellently. When they pluck algae, herbivores take in snails, tiny crustaceans and nauplii, worms and other small animals, which are therefore an essential part of the natural diet of herbivorous species. To take this into account, Formula TWO contains a balanced mixture of high-quality animal organisms in addition to selected plant raw materials such as spirulina, seaweed and other natural algae. This ensures the energetic supply of easily digestible proteins. Thus Formula TWO is also perfectly suited for the nutrition of mixed eaters.
Exceptionally good acceptance thanks to the best raw materials directly from nature
The composition of the raw materials and the processing methods of all Ocean Nutrition feeds are based on the latest scientific findings. The basis of the feed is the natural food spectrum of carnivorous or herbivorous animals modelled on nature. In order to do justice to the “aquarium” habitat, additional immune stimulants are added to the feed, for example in the form of garlic, in order to strengthen their defences. The quality of the feed is already evident in the first feedings due to the extremely good acceptance of the fish. After a few weeks you will recognize the true value: healthy and colourful fish full of vitality, which reflect the vision of Ocean Nutrition: “Preserving Life and Beauty through Nutrition”.
High nutrient content and exceptionally good bioavailability thanks to gentle processing
Ocean Nutrition relies on particularly gentle processing to ensure that all nutrients and ingredients are available to the animals. High temperatures are avoided throughout the entire production process, so that, unlike most competing products, temperature-sensitive nutrients are retained in the feed and do not have to be artificially added. Vitamins, carotenoids or immune stimulants – Formula ONE and TWO provide your aquarium inhabitants with what they would find in the wild. To ensure high bioavailability and excellent digestibility, the raw material composition was adapted to the respective dosage form in close cooperation with experts so that the nutrients are not lost during processing.
Feed one to three times daily. Do not feed more than can be eaten within a few minutes.
