The SKY Reef Aquarium light is a 200w, LED aquarium light, with patented diffuser technology, that smoothly blends all of its 104 LEDs to create a homogeneous field of coral-health-optimized light — no hotspots, no disco-ball effect, no need to augment it with other lights or add-on diffusers — but best of all, none of the harsh shadowing and fractured spectrum found in most other popular lights. The moonlit sky is very important to coral reef health and its natural processes.That is why the SKY provides moonlight via four dedicated moonlight LED in two colors. The moonlights on the SKY are not just some of the main LED dimmed down, instead they are two discrete, blue and white colored LED that can operate with the phases of the real moon outside or, if you prefer, simply as night lights when your daytime lights are not currently on
The SKY easily joins your Apex ecosystem simply by connecting its integrated AquaBus cable to an available port on one of your modules or the base unit. This makes set up fast and easy. Alternatively, those without an Apex can wirelessly connect to the SKY and operate it wirelessly over BT on their mobile devices.
Hanging Kit
The Neptune Systems Hanging Kit makes it possible to easily hang up your SKY. The Hanging Kit gives you the posibility to mount your SKY light at the hight your tank requires to receive the optimal balance of spread and intensity. The Hanging Kit includes 2 hanging cables and 2 height adjustment wire holders.
Diffused Shimz
SKY Diffused Shimz allows you to easily adjustment your light settings. The SKY Diffused Shimz allows you to create a customized the shimmer effect that fits perfectly to the needs of your aquarium. The Diffused Shimz inserts simply pop in and out of the four white LED sections of the diffuser panel in seconds which allow you to see immediate change.
