Korallenwunder Ozone Airdryer 500 (Made in Germany)

The Ozone Airdryer 500 is a device to increase the efficiency of ozone generators up to
500mg / h performance.
The ozone device performance stated by the manufacturers always assumes a normal
humidity. This is not the case in the aquarium cabinet, which reduces the ozone output by
about 50%.
Our Ozone AirDryer 500 removes moisture from the supply air and allows your ozone
generator to work at full capacity.
It even eliminates unwanted by-products that form, when exposed to moisture in the ozone
tube.
1. Connection and Installation
– For vacuum operation:
The Ozone Airdryer 500 can be connected to a protein skimmer with an injector or disperser
pump. A 4/6 mm or 6/8 mm ozone-resistant tube from the Ozone Airdryer 500 is routed to
the inlet connection of the ozone generator. The air is sucked in through the Venturi nozzle.
– For pressure operation:
If the Ozone Airdryer 500 is operated on a protein skimmer with an air stone and membrane
air pump, the air from the air pump is directed through the Airdryer 500 and ozone
generator into the skimmer or an ozone mixer.
2. Maintenance
The Ozone Airdryer 500 is delivered 100% with a regenerable high-tech drying granulate.
This absorbs the humidity and turns from orange to green at saturation. The granules can be
regenerated in the oven endlessly.
For this, spread the saturated green granules flat on a baking tray with baking paper and dry
at 80°C until the color changes to orange. A microwave is not suitable for regeneration.
Depending on the humidity, the drying granules must be regenerated approximately every 3
months.
