We recommend the skimmer for saltwater aquariums from 1000 to 1400 liters.
The ideal water level should be between 18 cm and 26 cm.

Pump:
The UP 8000 V24 Skimmer is a new skimmer pump that was developed for the highest requirements in saltwater aquariums.
The new brushless 24-volt direct current motor enables absolute smooth running and offers the highest level of safety thanks to the protective extra-low voltage.
The maximum output is 2000 l/air per hour (with air intake nozzle), with only 50 watts. The controller allows the air output to be adjusted from 0 to 50 watts in 5 watt increments.
The needle wheel and the Venturi nozzle are also designed to run absolutely effectively and quietly in order to meet the highest demands.
The pump can be dismantled without tools using the union ring on the rotor housing. The shaft and plain bearing bushings are made of the hardest, long-lasting ceramic.
The age-resistant and vibration-damping silicone bushings in which the plain bearing bushings are enclosed ensure very quiet running. We make the needle wheel from POM. The plastic POM has a much higher strength than other plastics. This makes the needle wheel extremely durable.
