Instructions:
Many invertebrates are imported on very little pieces of rock and cannot be integrated easily into the artificial reef or the live rock. Broken pieces of hard corals get lost in the aquarium when they cannot be fixed. These problems are solved with Reef Construct purple quickly and safely. The 2 component epoxy putty can be used without problems under water. Reef Construct purple has a long shelf life, if not mixed. As soon as the components are mixed, the putty gradually hardens. The speed of hardening is depending on the temperature. At normal temperature (20 – 25 °C) Reef Construct purple gets rock hard in approx. 3 hours. After another 3 hours, Reef Construct purple is fully cured and can be machined, drilled, tapped, turned, filed, sawn, sandpapered and painted. Reef Construct purple will bond any of the following material such as wood, brick, cement, concrete, plastic, glass, etc. but note that it is not intended as a thin layer adhesive but as a putty.
