The Aqua Medic antibac filter serves as a germ barrier for osmosis units. Its capillary membrane removes unwanted bacteria, parasites, spores and fungi from the reverse osmosis water. The antibac filter is simply placed in the osmosis outlet and can produce around 8,500 liters of sterilized osmosis water before it has to be replaced.
With osmosis units, there is a risk of contamination especially if used irregularly. In addition, the waste water hose of an osmosis system is often connected directly to the drain. As a result, there is a risk that bacteria and other germs from the waste water will migrate into the system, this is referred to as “recontamination”. The Aqua Medic antibac filter ensures hygienically perfect osmosis water.
