QUALITYcarbon is a high quality product, specially developed for fish keeping. QUALITYcarbon reliably removes toxic compounds, toxins and colored dissolved organic matter (Gelbstoffe), dissolved organic matter and residue from medication.
Application:
Put QUALITYcarbon into the enclosed filter bag. We recommend a rinsing with hot water before use, to free the macropores from air. After that, the activated carbon is ready to use and can be placed directly in the filter.
Dwelling time:
If using QUALITYcarbon subsequent to the administration of medication or detoxification, please remove the activated carbon after 2 to 3 days. Replace it if necessary. To achieve a long-lasting clarification, the activated carbon may stay in the filter up to 4 weeks. Please consider that in case of long-term use, the amount of extra added trace minerals needs to be adjusted.
Dosage:
We recommend 500g/1000 ml QUALITYcarbon per 1000 l aquarium water.
