With the products ICP Xtra A, B, C, D you get the main components to supply the water in the aquarium with the elements calcium, magnesium and carbonate necessary for calcification. In this way, you obtain a balanced and stable environment for the successful keeping of fish and corals in saltwater.
The components ICP Xtra A, B, C, D can be used individually or together in combination to operate the supply according to the Balling or Balling light method. It is easy to use and it is recommended to be added using a dosing pump.
ICP Xtra A
Sodium hydrogen carbonate
(NaHCO3)
For increasing the carbonate hardness in saltwater aquaria
Use as a single component:
3 g sodium hydrogen carbonate per 100 l aquarium water increase the carbonate hardness by approx. 1° dKH.
Use as a Balling component:
Before use, it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility at 20 °C is approx. 93 g sodium hydrogen carbonate per 1 l of osmosis water.
Ingredient: Sodium hydrogen carbonate

ICP Xtra B
Calcium chloride dihydrate
(CaCl2 · 2 H2O)
For calcium supply in saltwater aquaria
Use as a single component:
10 g calcium chloride dihydrate per 100 l aquarium water increase the calcium content by approx. 2.7 mg/l.
Use as a Balling component:
Before use, it is mandatory to prepare a liquid solution with osmosis water. The maximum solubility is: approx. 1,280 g calcium chloride dihydrate per 1 l osmosis water.
